Ihre Aufgaben


  • This global position includes global key account management and travel.

  • Creation of detailed, mid-range account strategies in agreement with the customer.

  • Build-up and manage account and project teams, including operational management of specialists engaged on customer projects.

  • Planning of activities necessary to achieve sales objectives.

  • Identify and win projects based on excellent automation competence.

  • International cooperation and collaboration.

  • Achieve development milestones with designated customers.

  • Ensure satisfactory levels of customer satisfaction with designated customers.

  • Effective performance of sales meetings with customers to identify needs and gain customer acceptance of Festo's products and solutions.

  • Understanding and proactively communicating the organizational structure of the customer. Building relationships with key decision makers and understanding the decision-making processes and requirements of customers. The goal being to gain influence at highest management levels.

  • Supports the definition and marketing of customer solutions as input for the product development process.

  • Initiates and leads process improvements to develop key accounts in a more efficient and effective way e.g. through capacity planning in SAP.,

  • Looks for improvements and strives to keep the complete picture in mind when approaching tasks.

  • Is open to change and adapts to new conditions. Shows the willingness and the ability to continuously learn and improve.

  • Builds up employees by coaching and developing people and teams. Empowers and trains them by strengthening their capabilities and delegating adequate tasks.

  • Serves as a role model and thereby inspires and motivates people to go the extra mile. Offers guidance and direction.

  • Not only understands the current business but puts it into a global perspective. Shapes the business by having a strategic vision for the future.



Ihr Profil


  • University Degree (engineering and/ or business studies; electrical engineering advantageous)

  • 5 Years' Experience

  • Fluent English

  • MS-Office, CRM-tools knowledge SFA, SAP

  • Communication skills

  • Negotiating skills

  • Winning complex sales

  • Management of sales processes, Key Account management

  • Experience in project management methods is advantageous

  • Experience in industrial B2B sales

  • Makes consequent and timely decisions. Stands up for own decisions and actions.

  • Delivers results on time and in an efficient way avoiding over engineering tasks. Continuously promotes the implementation.

  • Understands the needs of internal and external customers and keeps them in mind when taking actions. Delivers work in required quality to meet the customers' expectations.

  • Works in partnership with others in their own team and across teams, builds trusting relationships striving for solutions which are beneficial for all.
