For temporary employment of 12 months Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a

Ihre Aufgaben

• Manufacturing Processes: Gain insights into the production of launcher vehicle structures, as well as optimizing manufacturing processes

• Testing: Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of components and sub-systems

• Responsibility for Smaller Systems and Projects: Take ownership of smaller projects, from design and analysis to validation and hands-on manufacturing, ensuring their successful execution and meeting project objectives

Ihr Profil

• Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

• Strong interest in rocketry/space and a passion for working with structures

• A hands-on mentality and/or prior experience in vehicle structures, such as involvement in related projects, participation in student racing teams, rocketry teams, or similar endeavors

• Experience in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX

• Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and analytical calculation methods

• Fluent oral and written English skills, as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English
