Ihre Aufgaben


The Compliance/Certification Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and systems meet all relevant regulatory, industry, and company standards. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure compliance with applicable certification requirements. The Certification Engineer will manage the certification process, from initial product development to final approval, ensuring that products are safe, reliable, and meet customer expectations., Certification Process Management:

  • Coordinate and manage the certification process for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

  • Develop and maintain certification schedules, ensuring timely submission and approval of necessary documents.

  • Interface with certifying bodies, regulatory agencies, and customers to facilitate product certifications.

    Technical Documentation:

  • Prepare, review, and submit technical documentation required for product certification, including test reports, compliance statements, and design specifications.

  • Ensure that all certification documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.

    Testing and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the testing team to define test plans and procedures that meet certification requirements.

  • Analyze test results, identify non-conformities, and coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

  • Ensure that all products meet or exceed safety, performance, and environmental standards.

    Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about changes in relevant certification standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Provide guidance to engineering and design teams on regulatory requirements and certification processes.

  • Participate in regulatory audits and inspections as needed.

    Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline certification processes and reduce time to market.

  • Develop and implement best practices for certification activities across the organization.

  • Provide training and support to team members on certification requirements and processes.



Ihr Profil


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

  • Certification in Quality or Regulatory Affairs (e.g., ASQ, CQE) is a plus.

    Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a certification, compliance, or quality engineering role.

  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and certification agencies.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, CE, UL, FCC, etc.). *

    Skills:

  • Strong understanding of certification and regulatory processes.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to interpret and apply technical standards and regulations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Ideally, fluency in German and English
