As a Principal Energy Utilities, you will be working directly with our clients and our colleagues from The Boston Consulting Group on projects to unlock additional value from power and gas sales, customer solutions and energy networks, to build new customer service capabilities and to leverage data and digital platforms for establishing new revenue streams for our clients. Your focus here is particularly on energy sales, energy distribution networks and decentralized energy solutions of the future.

You will be responsible for continuously evolving our offering, growing a team of internal and customer-facing IT experts in energy utilities, connecting with new partners and extending our existing strong offering with deep domain and solution expertise.

Shape the world of tomorrow

• Definition and design of platform concepts for decentralized energy solutions of the future from the perspective of energy sales, energy distribution networks and meter operation

• Integration and modularization of commercial off-the-shelf and data solutions in the areas of CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, planning and logistics

• Technical support for our customers from the energy industry from the requirements analysis through the definition of the target architecture to the implementation

• Assistance in translating business concepts into solutions for implementation teams (e.g. detailing of use cases, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains and flow analysis)

• Evolving our customers' digital agendas to enable new capabilities and future-proof their data and systems landscapes

• Management of large transformation programs by directing the implementation activities and guiding the delivery teams (e.g. business analysts, developers, testers)

• Improving the quality of delivery by developing and sharing methodological approaches, as well as ensuring that delivery teams in the utility industry adhere to industry best practices based on deep solution expertise and in-depth utility experience

• Further developing our energy platforms, technical capabilities and service offerings in energy supply to create new opportunities for our energy customers worldwide

• Build and lead a team of power supply experts, designers and developers who work directly with our customers and also develop prototypes in their own environments

  This is how you can make a difference

• You have at least eight years of experience in the context of energy suppliers, software development and management of implementation projects in the energy sales, energy network or energy IT sector

• You have very good management experience of larger teams of business analysts, developers or testers across multiple (sub) projects and work streams

• You have practical experience in the conception, implementation and configuration of industry-standard energy supply software (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud)

• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, the urge to always achieve high-quality results and you enjoy working with high-performing teams

• You are ready to take your communication and presentation skills to the next level to align teams and organizations towards common goals and to present our concepts and projects to IT stakeholders and business partners

• An active network to trading companies, system houses and/or system integrators is an advantage

• You are fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage

• You have an above-average degree in (business) computer science, business administration, energy engineering or a related degree
