Ihre Aufgaben

Performs Corrective Maintenance on all plant equipment (motors, gearboxes, piping, agitators, valves, pumps, structural, vacuum jets and boilers) failures by properly troubleshooting, analyzing and repairing the equipment in a timely and safe manner to reduce production down time. This includes both electrical and mechanical maintenance equipment at times.

Performs Preventative Maintenance on all plant equipment to ensure safety and reliability by increasing run time between failures of plant critical equipment. This includes both electrical and mechanical equipment.

Works with vendors and technical representatives to solve difficult plant equipment failures.

Actively participate in the "Plant Safety" and the "Continuous Improvement Process" teams and meetings to ensure a safe workplace for all employees. This includes leading one safety talk topic each year.

Installs new equipment in production facilities and writes procedures to a.) Ensure proper operation and b.) To extend useful life of said equipment.

The incumbent must have successfully completed the "Maintenance Technician 1" qualification program in addition to being fully qualified in all junior levels.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Must have five years' experience in "Industrial Maintenance Disciplines" or equivalent and/or successful completion of "Military, Industrial or Technical School Program".

Must have the ability to use Microsoft Windows, including Excel, Word and Access.

Perform work assignments to solve equipment/system problems in a systematic, logical and expeditious manner.

Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a daily basis.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The nature of the job requires that the incumbent ascend and descend stairs and ladders on a frequent basis.

Must be able to safely lift items weighing 55lbs.
