Ihre Aufgaben

As part of your Master's thesis, you will have the opportunity to implement a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in our company and develop API interfaces for automated ordering. You will work closely with our IT team and gain practical experience in a dynamic environment.,

• Analysis of the requirements and creation of a specification sheet for the WMS and the API interfaces

• Selection of a suitable WMS based on the defined requirements

• Design and development of system architecture and data models

• Implementation of the WMS and programming of the API interfaces for automated ordering

• Execution of tests (unit tests, integration tests, system tests) to ensure functionality and performance

• Documentation of the entire implementation process

• Training employees in the use of the new system

Ihr Profil

• Ongoing Master's degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field

• Initiative, a sense of responsibility and a structured way of working

• Knowledge of common programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/Typescript

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular or React) and Python frameworks (e.g. Django or Flask)

• Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and SQL

• Experience in the development and use of RESTful APIs and understanding of API security standards (OAuth, JWT)

• Basic knowledge of GIT and Docker

• Knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
