Ihre Aufgaben

The Category Buyer is responsible for deployment of local sourcing in GER/CH region (Germany & Switzerland). Categories within area and unit of responsibility - Value Added Services, (Co-packing & Components), Indirects Categories (e.g. Merchandiser or Training Sales Agencies). Other areas of responsibility are continuous alignment with business stakeholders, compliance with Procurement standards, methods, and processes. Act as a reliable expert to share Procurement and Category know-how within and beyond own area.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• You are responsible for the local definition and deployment of category and sourcing strategies while ensuring that market observations and legal developments are incorporated.

• You are responsible to steer the purchase to pay process for your area of responsibility including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting and performance tracking (e.g., financial health check, MSA, CoC, sustainability, prices, TCO and quality guidelines etc.) for locally managed categories towards objective agreed with the demand owner

• You are actively managing contracts (coordination with legal depart, identifying need for templates, drafting templates together with legal dept. etc)

• You are actively managing relationships with suppliers to create and strengthen a strong supply network that is able to comply with Beiersdorf requirements and resilient against disruptions while minimizing risks

• You are actively working with suppliers to achieve innovative solutions

• Timely documentation of relevant procurement KPI's.

• You are responsible for compliance with legal requirements, Beierdorf Procurement and non- Procurement procedures, as well as for Purchase Orders approval.

• You are responsible for maintenance and quality assurance of relevant master data for supported negotiation/contracting processes (e.g., category spends, contractual terms, supplier data).

• You are actively driving process development with regards to standardization, efficiency, and automation (incl. application of new technologies, implementation of purchase-related processes, methods and systems and monitor process adherence).

• You are responsible for performance of total spend in the Management Unit Germany/Switzerland. Ongoing monitoring of targets / KPIs achievement and initiating corrective actions as required.

Ihr Profil

• University degree, relevant major (economics, supply chain or similar)

• Experience in the area of procurement as well es experience in relevant industries (FMCG, VAS, logistics, e.g.)

• Digital upskilling drive, project management & thinking ahead. Digital collaboration, presentation & moderation in digital setup.

• Curiosity, eagerness to learn and openness for technological adaptation

• Excellent stakeholder management & communication in English & German.

• Ability to deliver strategic/tactical priorities within strict timelines

• Conceptual thinking and analytical skills for data-driven decision making

• Financial understanding, passion for negotiations and result orientation

• Drive for continuous improvement within and beyond own areas of responsibility

• Eagerness to work in a diverse & dynamic environment, dealing with ambiguity & failures

• Very good knowledge of SAP / SRM / CLM / e-sourcing / P2P Process/ MS Office environment proficiency/ BI
