You'll be involved in writing the code that makes our biometric devices work. Your programmes will ensure that our research results and data can be applied in practice. Later on, your user interfaces will be used by government officials, agencies and people in many different parts of the world. You'll manage vast amounts of data and be responsible for automated data processing and the digital representation of biometric characteristics. Of course, coding also involves testing the software and making sure it stays compatible with the required operating systems. You'll then write documentations for your software, and create or install software packages. And you'll also initiate projects of your own. As you can already tell, your training program at DERMALOG will be anything but boring.

Alternatively, you can opt to ensure that our company remains at the forefront of biometrics in the specialist field of system integration. You'll be responsible for integrating hardware and software into our IT infrastructure, for supporting our teams when it comes to troubleshooting with your IT expertise, and for learning what it means to be an "admin". In the process, you will monitor and optimise our running IT systems. A role that comes with a great deal of responsibility and a wide range of tasks. Once you've completed your training, you'll have a strong chance of going on to become a full-stack developer. You're calm and composed, and have a particularly long attention span. The code you create or the network you connect to won't always turn out to work properly. Sometimes your own work was exactly right and the error is down to some other external factor. You can't let such situations get to you.
You should always keep your priorities at the top of your mind, even if they've sometimes been set by a higher authority. You should always be able to judge for yourself, though, which of your tasks you need to focus on the most. But don't worry: You'll often have the freedom to divide your working time up among several different tasks, especially during training.
