We are looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) to join the German Sales team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for Lubrizol's profitability by executing Product Line strategies and managing key defend/grow opportunities across several German national and international accounts to deliver sustainable growth year on year.
They will maintain and enhance the value that Lubrizol brings to its customer relationships by leading and utilizing the support of all stakeholders across the organization, as well as utilizing an enhanced market knowledge and deep customer understanding.
Ideally, they will possess some knowledge of Value and Challenger sales techniques.
In this role, the successful candidate will:

Execute business strategy for selected market segments and targeted accounts.

Grow and manage current key direct accounts.

Identify core growth accounts and build exceptional customer relationships.

Support growth initiatives for the business and introduction of new products.

Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements.

Communicate well throughout the organization.

Comply timely and accurately with administrative requirements, such as call reports, sales forecasting and expense reports.

Provide market information and its trend for the company to further develop.
Ihr Profil

A good understanding of Lubrizol, its products and service offering and the value these bring to its customers

A University degree, preferably in Chemical or Technical
-
Several years of direct technical/specialty chemical sales experience

Strong technical understanding of specialty chemicals and polymers, and their applications in lubricants, fuels and industrial fluids

Excellent communications and presentation skills

Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)

Good at office IT applications
-
Willing to travel (up to 40-50% in Germany, The Nordics & The Baltics)
