Your responsibilities: In your role as Product Manager (m/f/d) Surgical Devices you take ownership for your business areas of Hand Instruments, Generators, and the extended Surgical Devices Business to drive results in the context of the EMEA sales organization.
You define and execute the EMEA product strategy in alignment with global product strategy as an operational interface between central units, upstream marketing, regional organizations.
You are responsible for managing the product life cycle, in particular for product planning and forecasting, product launch, post-out and phase-out phases.
You create innovative product/marketing strategies for our Surgical Products incl. the development of value propositions, product positioning, internal & external training, pricing, reimbursement and communication with the aim of raising marketing activities to a higher level.
You actively steer the concept integration into the local markets and monitor the countries sales results and activities in your product areas and initiate necessary measures in case of deviations.
In close cooperation with your Surgical Endoscopy counterpart, you will be responsible for developing the Go to Market Strategy in the Target Discipline Gynecology.
You design and carry out training and education concepts for our sales representatives and customers in the field of Surgical Devices and Gynecology.
You carry out extensive market and competition analyses and prepare needs analyses for the Surgical Management EMEA as well as for the country organizations.
You organize customer events such as specialist congresses, represent your products at customer visits and build up a HCP & Surgical Society network and constantly expanding it.
Your qualification
You have successfully completed your studies in economics or medical technology with a focus on strategic marketing.
You have 2 -4 years of relevant professional experience in product management of explainable (medical) products and launching products downstream.
You are familiar with business administration (can read and interpret P & L) and you demonstrate independence/ proactive behavior, driving your own business with minimal supervision. Ideally you have experience in selling medical products to hospitals.
You have a very good command of English - both written and spoken.
You have an inspiring character and a strong business sense.
Your strengths include negotiation skills, pronounced communication skills, affinity for numbers, ability to work in a team and an analytical and business management mindset.
You enjoy travelling up to 30%.
