You handle the acquisition, evaluation, and negotiation of facultative reinsurance offers from the US and London markets.

You are responsible for the analysis of engineering proposals.

Through regular market observations and bechmarking studies, you contribute to the further development of our engineering portfolio.

You establish sustainable relationships with our international business partners and meet with them regularly on-site.

You particularly support colleagues with less professional experience in their technical development.

You work in interdisciplinary teams with the goal of continuously improving our underwriting processes and tools.
Ihr Profil
-
A successfully completed degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Construction Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Business Administration)

Several years of relevant professional experience in underwriting with a focus on engineeringat a primary insurer and/or reinsurer
-
A profound technical understanding as well as expertise in coverage concepts

Knowledge of the London and/or US markets is desirable

Fluent in English with strong negotiation skills; additional language skills are a plus
-
An international mindset and networking skills, as well as a willingness to travel regularly
