Ihre Aufgaben

• You handle the acquisition, evaluation, and negotiation of facultative reinsurance offers from the US and London markets.

• You are responsible for the analysis of engineering proposals.

• Through regular market observations and bechmarking studies, you contribute to the further development of our engineering portfolio.

• You establish sustainable relationships with our international business partners and meet with them regularly on-site.

• You particularly support colleagues with less professional experience in their technical development.

• You work in interdisciplinary teams with the goal of continuously improving our underwriting processes and tools.

Ihr Profil

• A successfully completed degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Construction Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Business Administration)

• Several years of relevant professional experience in underwriting with a focus on engineeringat a primary insurer and/or reinsurer

• A profound technical understanding as well as expertise in coverage concepts

• Knowledge of the London and/or US markets is desirable

• Fluent in English with strong negotiation skills; additional language skills are a plus

• An international mindset and networking skills, as well as a willingness to travel regularly
