Ihre Aufgaben
In this position, you will be part of a team responsible for managing QIAGEN's digital PCR (dPCR) systems at a global level as well as other automation systems within the QIAGEN PCR portfolio. In addition to dPCR, the portfolio includes systems for qPCR, pyrosequencing and PCR setup. You will be in close contact across the organisation with your colleagues from research & development, sales and marketing, but also with our customers and partners in order to develop long-term strategies for our portfolio., Portfolio optimisation via price adjustment, life cycle management, harmonisation and integration of product lines, as well as repositioning and creation of business cases for organic investments. This would include initiation or support of market analyses, conducting scenario analyses and developing/ supporting go-to-market strategies.

Stay up to date with external growth opportunities and act as a key business stakeholder for the integration of the acquired units.

Develop and maintain technical knowledge and support your regional colleagues in sales and marketing. This would include training, seminars and multimedia formats, such as videos and live events, which you conduct online and in person.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define, develop, validate and approve the requirements and concepts for product development, focusing on target markets with products that are tailored to their requirements with the required values and application data.
Ihr Profil
Master's degree, or higher, in Biology, Biomedicine or equivalent courses in the Life Sciences with at least 3 years' professional experience in product management-relevant activities for automation systems.

Several years' expertise in cross-functional roles related to molecular biology including experience in market analysis, business case development, product management, marketing, strategic portfolio management.

Ability to use your excellent understanding of the natural sciences in general and the transfer to applied workflows in various PCR technologies, such as dPCR and qPCR, to expediently advance both the sales organisation and product development, taking market requirements into account.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across hierarchies and departments with diverse partners and stakeholders. Fluent English is essential, German language skills would be highly desirable. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10%.

Ability to quickly integrate into a highly competent, diverse and geographically dispersed team of molecular biologists, marketing experts and sales colleagues.
