Ihre Aufgaben
As Sustainable Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d) you will be part of our Sustainability Team within our Scen & Care Business Unit. You will be responsible for supplier development in order to improve the transparency and securization of the Natural supply Chain. This includes the development and continous maintenance of a complete dashboard to assess raw material risks and work on a risk mitigation plan in close collaboration with global procurement & suppliers.

You develop an annual Natural RM risk assessment dashboard for Fragrance and Cosmetic Ingredients.

You build a Roadmap with one-on-one discussions with identified suppliers and category buyers on prioritized high risk raw material clusters to develop mitigation plans.

You implement a Human Rights RM risk assessment dashboard for Fragrance and Cosmetic Ingredients and develop mitigation plans.

You develop a slide deck on Symrise Sustainable Sourcing approach to generate supplier engagement.

You draw up capacity building presentations for supplier & buyers.

You implement detailed action plans for certifications & verifications, as well as partnerships with suppliers, as risk mitigation plan to securize the transparency of the supply chain.

You develop an annual dashboard for Corporate Sustainability on the progress of sustainable sourcing with regards to global strategic biological raw material for Annual Report purposes (auditable annual goal).
Ihr Profil

You sucessfully completed your Masters in Agriculture Engineering, Sustainability or similar.

You have 5 years of experience in a Sustainable Sourcing role or a related position.

You have a strong understanding of regenerative agriculture in the context of supply chains.

You are experienced in Human Rights in the context of smallholder supply chains, as well as Biodiversity protection, including deforestation.

You have good analytical skills, as data collection, analysis and management.

You have good communication and interpersonal skills, that are a real asset in your way to collaborate and engage others.

You're familiar with global and regional market trends.

You have a strategic mindset to provide valuable input in human rights & risk assessment methodologies.

You're a fluent business English speaker and have a good command in a second major language such as Spanish, German or French.
