Join global Research & Technology (R&T) in the team of Augmented Analytics & Molecule Decoding (AAMD) as a Data Scientist. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights, optimize molecular data analysis, and support innovation-driven projects. Your expertise will shape customer-centric solutions that enhance product performance, profitability, and speed-to-market.

• Augmented Analytics

• Perform data preparation, data science, and dashboarding to generate actionable insights.

• Support insight exploration and generation for customer-centric solutions.

• Mathematical Data Science Procedures

• Apply advanced signal processing strategies and statistical methods for molecule analysis.

• Develop approaches for outlier detection and novelty identification in molecular data.

• Establish best practices, EDA procedures, and data science strategies.

• Create reusable templates for sampling strategies, outlier detection, and dashboarding.

• Customer Collaboration

• Conduct workshops, customer interviews, and brainstorming sessions.

• Present exploratory data analysis (EDA) results, guide AI training, and monitor model performance.

• Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure alignment with IT policies and maintain documentation of procedures and best practices.

• Prioritize deliverables based on resources and organizational goals.

Ihr Profil

• Master's degree in data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, or equivalent experience.,

• Advanced knowledge of machine learning models, statistics, and experiment design (DOE, sequential learning).

• Proficiency in Python or R and associated machine learning frameworks.

• Familiarity with neural networks, image analysis, and data transformations (Fourier transforms, derivatives).

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and data integration.

• Skills in dashboard and UI creation (R Shiny, Jupyter/Voila, or Microstrategy).,

• Basic knowledge of DevOps (git, docker, bash) and MLOps (e.g., MLFlow).

• Understanding of chemical data, molecular fingerprints, and sensor data acquisition (a plus).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall project management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive approach to collaboration with stakeholders.

• Fluency in English and German; additional languages (French/Spanish) are a plus.
