Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate should have a PhD in physics, medical physics, engineering, computer science or related field. Candidates having the following background are preferred: strong interest in adaptive radiotherapy and radiotherapy imaging research; knowledge and experience in radiographic imaging and image processing; strong computing skills with knowledge of IDL and/or Matlab. Experience with DICOM is also desired.
Role involves participation in industry-sponsored research related to adaptive radiotherapy and CBCT imaging, that includes developing and implementing advanced image reconstruction algorithms related to cone beam CT.
