Expert Product Design and Process Development (m/f/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Responsibility for product design and new product development, including concept development, technical specifications and implementation of design ideas

• Development, Selection and Qualification of adequate (manufacturing) processes

• Continuous optimization of methods for product development processes to achieve efficiency increases and quality improvements

• Close collaboration with the team to establish clear guidelines and standards for the development of 3D models, documentation and design choices

• Lead feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure the developed products match the requirements for functionality, quality, cost, and schedule

• Working closely with the Manufacturing and Quality Management teams to ensure that the design and development processes integrate smoothly

• Monitoring and evaluating trends in product design and process development to ensure we remain on the cutting edge of technology and provide innovative solutions

• Training and mentoring team members to improve their skills and knowledge in the aspects of product design and process development

Ihr Profil

• Graduated scientific or technical studies (mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable field of study)

• Relevant professional experience in product design and process development

• Knowledge of design principles and standards and their application in practice (Design for Manufacturing (DFM))

• Ability to work in a highly structured manner

• Analytical mindset and problemsolving skills to challenge and improve existing standards

• Constant ambition for professional development and an open-minded spirit regarding new trends and technologies in the field of industrialization

• Very good knowledge of German and English, in writing and speaking (B2)
