(if the personal requirements are met E 13 TV-L, place of duty: Clausthal-Zellerfeld), for a period of 3 years in part time (75%) starting as soon as possible. Within the scope of the job, further scientific qualification (doctorate) at the TU Clausthal is intended.
The Institute for Mathematics of TU Clausthal is strongly motivated by applications both in research and teaching. The position is in the mathematical modelling group. The focus of the research of the group is on the analysis of nonlinear (stochastic) partial differential equations in fluid mechanics.
Your task is the participation in the DFG-project "Compressible Euler equations with transport noise" which is part of the DFG-priority programme "Hyperbolic balance laws in fluid mechanics". More information on the project can be found here.

Excellent degree (MSc equivalent) in mathematics with strong relation to nonlinear partial differential equations or stochastic analysis

The position is remunerated according to the German TV-L salary scheme and includes an annual bonus payment at the end of each year. In addition, we offer a supplementary pension scheme (VBL).
