Frese provides customized fuel saving technologies for the global maritime industry. Our integrated solutions with dynamic valves, sensors and variable frequency drives complete with touch-screen panels and smart automation are well-proven. They help reduce carbon emissions and improve fuel efficiency with accurate temperature controls. The Frese FUELSAVE® System is patented and provides a return of investment in just under a few years for our customers.

You will be working closely with an experienced marine engineer and a team of marine colleagues in addressing the challenges that owners, operators, and builders of commercial marine vessels face: Reducing costs while maintaining performance, crew safety and compliance with environmental regulations. We don't expect you to be an expert from day one, but we do expect you to be a fast learner, curious, bright, and prepared for an adventure.

Warning: No two days are going to be the same. Therefore, it's important that you thrive in an ever-changing environment with a proactive mindset. This can even include jumping on a plane and going onboard a ship in South Korea or somewhere in Europe where you will do on-site measurements or support the sales team with your technical marine skills. Perhaps you are even able to do the technical installations yourself on-site.,

• Business Case Development: Conduct in-depth analyses of energy-saving solutions using Frese FUELSAVE® for marine applications. We provide the necessary tools and various models for your calculations, and you will of course check the key figures with your hawk's eye. You will collaborate with the sales and engineering team members to create persuasive business cases for our clients who are global shipping companies.

• Prepare offers for Frese FUELSAVE®solutions in English. This also includes getting offers from suppliers.

• Project management: Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate installation and commissioning efforts with suppliers and ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule for seamless project handovers and high customer satisfaction.

• On-site surveys: Conduct surveys on marine vessels before preparing offers and starting technical installation. You will participate in commissioning of the Frese FUELSAVE® systems and provide technical expertise during the commissioning phase including troubleshooting and resolving of technical challenges.

• Client Engagement: Together with your colleagues in the Frese marine team you will build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions and support.,

• Play a role in shaping the future by providing sustainability and energy efficiency in the maritime industry., You will report to Global Product Manager & Head of Project Engineering, Rasmus Frimann Nielsen. The project engineer position is a full-time 12-month position beginning as soon as possible. Very likely to convert into a normal full-time position at the end of the contract period.

Ihr Profil

To be considered as a preferred candidate in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Project Management skills in engineering, particularly in marine or energy-saving applications is an advantage.

• Knowledge of fluid thermodynamics, cooling water systems and electrical technology.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
