Inspector (m/f/d)

N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence centre for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce engines of the Trent series. The joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc is located at the gates of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 700 employees service the engines of 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Performing visual and dimensional inspections on engine components, taking into account specific characteristics (e.g. technical instructions from the manufacturer, operator and aviation authorities).

• Selection and use of measuring equipment according to measuring equipment capability

• Assessment of deviations and comparison of the permissible specifications with the respective engine documentation

• Determination of necessary process steps for the engine components

• Recording test results and ordering spare parts using SAP

• Creating and evaluating the relevant technical documentation

• Carrying out defined minor repairs

TAKE-OFF / GOOD TO KNOW

We provide you with extensive theoretical and practical expertise as part of an internal 6-month qualification program. You do not meet all the requirements described or come from a non-aviation industry? No problem - at N3 you will work in a team and be fully trained by experienced colleagues.

• Further qualification as quality or parts inspector, certified quality representative desirable

• Professional experience in the testing/assessment of components desirable

• High level of commitment and reliability as well as teamwork and communication skills

• Distinct quality awareness as well as an independent, structured way of working

• Willingness to work shifts and weekends

• Good MS Office skills

• Open to the English language

• Basic knowledge of SAP desirable
