N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence centre for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce engines of the Trent series. The joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc is located at the gates of Arnstadt, in Thuringia's largest industrial area "Erfurter Kreuz". More than 1000 employees service the engines of 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Checking for completeness and conformity of the work papers with the engine components

• Preparation of manual repair

• Setting up workstations and equipment

• Preparation of individual parts and assemblies to be processed

• Carrying out the manual repair

• Carrying out mechanical processing (e.g. sawing, drilling, thread cutting)

• Carrying out assembly work (e.g. screws, pins, bushings)

• Operating machines (e.g. press brake, presses, drilling machines)

• Carrying out heat treatments (except after welding)

• Manufacturing of individual parts (e.g. manufacturing of brackets)

• Performing quality control (e.g. visual control, dimensional control)

• Documenting the completed work orders with regard to completeness and correctness in the system

Ihr Profil

• At least 3 years of completed technical vocational training in the direction of industrial mechanics or tool mechanics

• Experience in handling hazardous materials desirable

• Knowledge of English (level A1)

• Teamwork/communication skills, as well as commitment and ability to work under pressure

• High quality awareness with a precise way of working

• Reliability, You do not meet all the requirements described or come from a non-aviation industry? No problem - at N3 you work in a team and are fully trained by experienced colleagues.
