Midwestern State University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene for the AY year 2022-2023. Start date will be Fall 2023. Responsibilities include teaching a twelve-hour load each long-term semester unless otherwise prescribed; prepares and administers tests; works with Deans and Program Chairs in developing curricula; meets with and counsels individual students through required office hours; conducts research or creative activity in appropriate disciplinary fields. And serves on university councils and committees as assigned.

Ihr Profil

Qualifications / Experience: Must have demonstrated competence in the field. Must be familiar with classroom protocol and testing and grading techniques, and, if applicable, know the safety standards and procedures for the use of any equipment, materials, or supplies used for instructional or research purposes. Knowledge of the use of personal computers and commonly used office software programs is strongly desired. Education: Master's degree in Dental Hygiene, Public Health, or an adult education/counseling area. A valid Texas Dental Hygiene license, at least five years of clinical Dental Hygiene practice, and two years of teaching experience in a Dental Hygiene Program.
