Ihre Aufgaben


Post Hotel has excellent accommodation for staff including a dining room serving three healthy and delicious meals daily. Our staff accommodation is known as some of the best in the Bow Valley and is available at a very reasonable rate., To provide friendly, efficient service to our clients while maintaining a professional demeanor., o Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential allergies) o Inform customers about the daily specials o Offer menu recommendations o Up-sell additional products when appropriate o Take accurate food and drinks orders, using POS ordering software, and communicate the information to kitchen o Check customers' IDs and follow ProServe regulations o Serve food and drink orders o Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems o Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area o Deliver checks and collect bill payments o Carry plates, glasses and silverware o Follow all relevant health department regulations o Provide excellent customer service to guests o Other duties as requested by guests and/or management, To maintain a high standard of food quality, presentation and cleanliness in all food outlets of the kitchen, o Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies o Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) o Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff o Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions o Clean up station and take care of leftover food o Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion o Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards o Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers o Other duties as requested by guests and/or management,

Ensure all guests' requests are handled as promptly as possible. Be friendly and courteous to all guests as well as fellow staff members., o Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing o Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards o Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies o Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances o Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience o Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate o Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices o Other duties as requested by guests and/or management Requirements/Experience: o Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent o Physically fit: demands of the position include standing, bending, sitting, lifting (up to 30 lbs) o Willing to learn new ways of cleaning a room o Flexibility and adaptability to emergency situations o Embraces challenges, ambitious o Will be required to work outside in all seasons (Winter, spring, summer and Fall) Reports to: Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Executive Housekeeper and/or Supervisors, To oversee and maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of the hotel. Executive Housekeeping Manager plays a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction and upholding our high standards of cleanliness and service. Job Description: Team Management: o Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff members. o Assign daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations and optimal staffing levels. o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members. o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Housekeeping Operations: o Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping activities. o Establish and maintain a comprehensive cleaning schedule for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. o Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance. o Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards. o Work closely with Maintenance and all other departments to ensure all areas are in perfect order. o Arrange Nanny Services and projects around the hotel. Guest Satisfaction: o Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services. o Maintain open lines of communication with guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. o Proactively address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues, striving for continuous improvement. Budget and Resource Management: o Prepare and manage the department's budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment. o Control costs through efficient resource utilization and adherence to budgetary guidelines. o Source high-quality housekeeping supplies at competitive prices. Training and Development: o Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff members are well-versed in housekeeping procedures and standards. o Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the housekeeping team. o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into training programs and operations., While under the direction of the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all work carried out is of the highest quality to ensure our guest satisfaction, while maintaining a positive attitude towards safety. Job Description - Groundskeeper: o Responsible for clearing all trash, weeds, brush and debris from the hotel grounds o Responsible for watering all plants and flowers located on hotel grounds o Sweep or blow all hotel roadside entrances, walkways and hotel back areas o Perform daily walk-thru of the hotel grounds and identifies, reports as well as addresses areas with immediate grounds keeping needs o Continually monitors all work areas for safety and sanitation o Handle ice rink and winter décor as per annual procedures o Work with Maintenance team with "exterior projects" o Other duties as requested by guests and/or management, Handling Maintenance issues as reported by various departments in the hotel Job Description - Maintenance Technician: o inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance o Perform building maintenance which may include drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, tiling and grouting, sealing, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, furniture repairs, groundskeeping and other tasks. o Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans o Allocate general and daily responsibilities o Follow all safety precautions and quality standards o Check periodically the machinery and equipment o Resolve problems when they arise o Report on progress to management o Other duties as requested by guests and/or management


Ihr Profil


o Minimum 1 year experience in Fine Dining setting o Knowledge of Squirrel an asset o ProServe certificate required o Above average wine knowlege o Must have the ability to work all shifts Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (AM, PM, MID Shifts) o Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures o To be able to endure long periods of standing (sitting, bending and lifting (up to 30lbs) may be required ), o Culinary education an asset o Kitchen experience (2-4 years) necessary o Kitchen supervisory experience would be considered an asset o Ability to work all restaurant operating hours o Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures o Excellent interpersonal skills o Red seal certification or equivalent o Physical demands, sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs) working in heated areas, o Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. o In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards. o Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. o Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. o Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. o Proficiency in using housekeeping-related software and systems is a plus., o 6 months landscaping/grounds experience required o Must have driver's license and clean driving record (out of country applicants will require an international license) o Must have the ability to climb a ladder to clear cabin roofs o Some maintenance labour experience is an asset o Must be flexible to work all shifts o Operating heavy equipment is an asset o Good physical dexterity to shovel and climb ladders o Will be working outside in all season's (summer, winter, spring, fall) o Physical demands, sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs) Reports to: Maintenance Manager, o Trades/Training certification o Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record o Basic carpentry, drywall repair and painting experience is required o Skills in electrical, plumbing or tiling is desirable o Must be able to perform basic maintenance and be able to troubleshoot problems o Must work safely, and uphold a high standard for safety for self and others o Must be able to learn how to operate firefighting equipment (extinguisher, hose, etc.) o Must be able to learn how to safely work with chemicals (hot tub chlorine, etc.) o Must be able to learn how to safely use power tools, equipment and machinery o Must be able to perform outside work in all weather conditions o Must be willing to work all shifts (AM, PM, and overnight shifts) o Must be able to work independently o Must be physically able to climb a ladder when required o Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting (up to 80 pounds) and other positions
