QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Ensure adherence to Company's Quality Assurance test methodology and discipline o assess the effectiveness of existing QA policies, tools, and procedures; and recommend improvements, as necessary o suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency

• Actively participate in the risks-assessment activities, and observe risks/ issues escalation management procedures

• Create the applicable test plans for manual, automation, or non-functional testing in support of the project and/or development schedule o automate test cases o prepare individual test estimates based on the requirement o create test matrices, test cases and test scripts

• Perform test activities to meet project delivery in compliance with the Company's QA test methodology and discipline o execute the applicable manual, automated, functional, or non-functional tests o analyze test results, root causes of performance issues, recommend corrective actions o coordinate with development teams for bug fixes

• Generate status and summary reports o ensure that all progress, risks, and issues are correctly reflected in all status reports

• Assist in the preparation of documentation materials for user manuals/ system manuals.

Ihr Profil

• Working knowledge and experience on any automation tool such as, but not limited to:

• JMeter and/or any open-source performance test tools

• Testing exposure to Java application and framework

• JAVA, TCP/IP, IIS, SQL Server, Network & server topology (web/app/DB server) and knowledge of service layers, RESTful service, WSDL services

• fundamental understanding of common application technologies and performance monitoring of different servers (web, app, DB), protocols, infrastructure, counter types and different application layers (security, presentation, communication, and abstraction)

  Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• With at least four (4) years of experience in Quality Assurance field and software testing life cycle

• black box, regression, functional, exploratory, etc.
