Qualifications required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics/ Accounting and Finance or related field
• Excellent knowledge of English language (C2 level)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting applications & MS Office
• Understanding of financial accounting principles
• Knowledge of Greek accounting standards and IFRS
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve problems and prioritize tasks
• Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines
• Desired 4-8 years of experience in a Financial Controller position in the industry sector

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility of Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis
• Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and presentation of financial reports to the relevant group team
• Collaboration with subsidiaries' finance departments to ensure efficient and timely monthly close and maintain compliance with financial reporting specifications
• Year-end closing in accordance with IFRS in collaboration with the local accounting team and Auditors
• Responsibility of monthly business analytics, comparison with prior period, budget, variance analysis per product / cost type, etc.
• Management of the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasts for the subsidiaries
• Business Partnering - contribution to drive financial profitability and cash flow through cost control, improved profitability and efficient utilization of working capital
