Ihre Aufgaben
The Chair of Development Economics is seeking applications for a 5-year (100%) PhD position. We are looking for a candidate with a strong research interest in microeconomics applied to developing countries. The focus of the position is on research, with a small workload on assistance for teaching and administration of the Chair. Participation to the department's scientific activities is expected.
The Chair's expertise lies in the empirical analysis of broad microeconomic and policyrelevant topics. The Chair's empirical work employs a wide range of different methodologies, and applies it to questions related to health, fertility, poverty, household structure, labor market frictions...
Ihr Profil
Candidates should have a Master's degree in economics, statistics or a related field, preferably with a good command of econometric tools. Excellent English language skills are required; good French language skills are recommended.
