Student Position: Course Assistant - MIT 390: Directing the Camera
Responsibilities:
- Assist in keeping careful records of student attendance
- Manage the input of non-graded work
- Scanning, photocopying, and uploading course materials
- Coordinating library course reserves
- Organizing and distributing learning materials
- Mentorship of student peers in library research, production, or other study skills
- Supporting students during studio class time
- Other administrative or support functions as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good academic, integrity, and conduct standing
- Prior experience of production classes
- Ability to use production equipment & editing software
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multitask, initiate and follow-through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time.
- Display strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to work professionally with peers
- Knowledge of CANVAS
- Exemplary study habits and research/production skills
