Ihre Aufgaben

As part of the research project 'Directed energy flows', you will be responsible for the development, simulation, evaluation and testing of methods for directed energy flows in meshed distribution grids. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Development of suitable benchmark models of grids and systems for the simulation, calculation and evaluation of new approaches

• Development and construction of a demonstration framework for carrying out comprehensive tests of the technology chain

• Conception, construction and operation of a laboratory infrastructure for 'directed energy flows'

• Conducting and analyzing simulations and experimental trials.

• Coordinating and preparing project proposals.

• Publication of scientific results

• Support in teaching

Ihr Profil

• Completed Master's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, energy technology or a related field of study

• Sound knowledge in the modelling and simulation of electrical networks as well as in the application of optimisation and probabilistic methods

• Experience in the development of scenarios and models for energy grid planning and operation

• Ideally familiarity with real-time simulations, co-simulations and the implementation of power hardware in the loop
