Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The position is located in the Competence Centre Energy Technologies and Energy Systems and is searching for a student at the earliest possible date. What you will do
- Assist in the development of an agent-based electricity market simulation model.
- Contribute to research and model demand-side flexibility of the emerging technologies.
- Support the conceptual development of demand-side energy services for the residential sector.
- Conduct thorough and systematic literature reviews.
- Perform data processing and analysis for related projects. What you bring to the table
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Masters program in renewable energy, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages, with a strong preference for Python. Familiarity with XML is a plus.
- Knowledge of scientific writing.
- Basic knowledge of electricity markets or energy system modeling.
- Strong interest in working with data and topics related to the energy transition and the economics of decarbonising the energy sector.
- Self-motivated with an independent working style, while also being a collaborative team player.
