We are looking for a proactive, communicative, and motivated person, who is eager to gain professional experience by expanding cross-alliance networks and further develop skills in promoting civic participation through educational initiatives. This role involves coordinating both academic and civic engagement initiatives and supporting cross-institutional collaboration within the EUniWell Alliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the EUniWell project management team and the thematic arena coordinator.
Your Responsibilities: Conceptualise and coordinate networking formats: Organize and manage academic symposia and student hackathons, and oversee regional civic engagement training pacts, including best practice sharing within EUniWell
Engage stakeholders: Work with academic, professional, and civic partners, as well as student teachers, to foster collaboration in educational and civic initiatives
Support the academic WP-lead and the local EUniWell team: Assistance in organizational and administrative management activities (e.g. reporting, BIPs, digital tools for time and project management )
Support student engagement: Facilitate student participation in hackathons and civic engagement activities, ensuring their active involvement in regional projects
Communication and dissemination: Collaborate with the EUniWell Communication Team to share project outcomes and prepare content for reports and presentations
Funding and proposal writing: Assist in identifying funding opportunities and contribute to writing proposals for expanding project activities Your Competencies Master degree or equivalent in an academic discipline related to Teacher Education Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently
Interest in civic engagement, knowledge transfer, educational innovation, and networking formats such as symposia and hackathons
Experience or interest in coordinating academic events and managing regional civic engagement projects.
International experience and experience in European or international projects is an asset Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders, including students, educators, and public partners - Demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary and intercultural team environment and contribute to collaborative efforts
- Knowledge or experience in project coordination or management (internships, university projects, or volunteer work count as relevant experience)
- Experience in concept development and proposal writing
- Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
