Project Manager

For more than 24 years, Sachsen Wasser GmbH (SaWa) has been contributing to sustainability in water supply and wastewater treatment with adapted solutions and customer-oriented strategies and approaches. SaWa is active in international cooperation in developing and emerging countries. SaWa works closely with governmental, regional and local partners. SaWa develops sustainable, strategic and technical-institutional solutions for adequate operations and maintenance of water and wastewater systems and supports their implementation with qualified technical and commercial consultancy services as well as education and training programmes. The projects are funded by international donors.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Project identification and acquisition including pre-qualification, elaboration of technical-conceptual and financial proposals, related negotiations.
• Preparation, Set-up, Backstopping, Quality Assurance and Cost Controlling of running Consultancy Projects abroad.
• Project-related Training and Consultancy Missions abroad, as appropriate.
• Teamworking and engaging with Clients and Implementing Agencies, Donors and Partners.

Ihr Profil

• University Degree (BSc, BEng, BA or Master) in a water sector relevant engineering, commercial or environmental discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in the sector, including relevant placements.
• Previous experience in international projects and/or in development cooperation is an asset.
• Good knowledge of English and German (minimum B-1) ???????? ? ?????? ? ????? language is a plus.
• Communicative, enthusiastic and open to short to mid-term assignments abroad.
