Your Job

Lead and guide a specialised team of (Senior) Claims Managers and Claims Consultants according to our Global Claims Leadership Values

Actively implement the new Global Claims Set-up and advance our Global Claims Ambition 2025, as a member of the Claims Leadership Team

Ensure proactive claims management and a state of the art legal and technical analysis of claims including reserving for Outliers
-
Manage payment of claims and adherence to the company's internal risk controls

Continuously improve claims management to increase the effectiveness of core claims functions in light of digital transformation

Ensure adherence to Global Claims guidelines and contribute to the development

Identify and meet the core business needs of our internal stakeholders (e.g. CM, UW, RIA, CR, CU) on management and team level

Provide active Claims support for new product development incl. innovation projects and digital claims initiatives

Establish and maintain an excellent external network with key clients and brokers

Plan and oversee internal and external claims visits, reviews and client events (predominantly reinsurance)

Actively participate in market meetings (for direct business only)

Contribute to our thought leadership and market presence ambition also through presentations and other strategic activities as well as supporting initiatives on a global basis

University degree or comparable formal qualification

Expert knowledge of reinsurance and/or primary insurance business
