Ihre Aufgaben

Claims1.4.3 is responsible for the management of Marine, Aviation, Contingency and Agro losses with a global mandate.

Your Job

• Lead and guide a specialised team of (Senior) Claims Managers and Claims Consultants according to our Global Claims Leadership Values

• Actively implement the new Global Claims Set-up and advance our Global Claims Ambition 2025, as a member of the Claims Leadership Team

• Ensure proactive claims management and a state of the art legal and technical analysis of claims including reserving for Outliers

• Manage payment of claims and adherence to the company's internal risk controls

• Continuously improve claims management to increase the effectiveness of core claims functions in light of digital transformation

• Ensure adherence to Global Claims guidelines and contribute to the development

• Identify and meet the core business needs of our internal stakeholders (e.g. CM, UW, RIA, CR, CU) on management and team level

• Provide active Claims support for new product development incl. innovation projects and digital claims initiatives

• Establish and maintain an excellent external network with key clients and brokers

• Plan and oversee internal and external claims visits, reviews and client events (predominantly reinsurance)

• Actively participate in market meetings (for direct business only)

• Contribute to our thought leadership and market presence ambition also through presentations and other strategic activities as well as supporting initiatives on a global basis

• Develop talents and contribute to the groupwide diversity and inclusion objectives

Ihr Profil

• University degree or comparable formal qualification

• Expert knowledge of reinsurance and/or primary insurance business

• Leadership experience:

• Ability to lead and motivate highly qualified and diverse teams in a global setup

• Change management skills

• Energetic manager who can build and empower teams in an agile way and apply their diverse skills, perspectives and experiences to achieve common goals

• Experience in developing colleagues through coaching, feedback and providing opportunities

• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking

• Strong negotiation skills

• Fluent in spoken and written business English. Further languages as an advantage

• High level of commitment with a willingness to travel
