In your role as technical assistant for underwriting, you will be responsible for providing this technical and administrative cross-line support to the underwriters. Ihre Aufgaben

Supporting underwriters with new business and renewals along the underwriting process including the capturing of risks in our systems

Assisting underwriters in the creation and verification of contract documents, and the accounting of facultative and corporate risks

Offering support in e-filing risk information and contract information (including management of paper files)

Supporting underwriting units in collaborating with Reinsurance Accounting and Reinsurance Controlling

Cooperating with Claims in the identification of risk affected locations including linking exposure and losses

Assisting follow-up for policy renewals and creation of performance summaries from various sources

Supporting the management of data quality in source systems in collaboration with Corporate Underwriting and/or Reinsurance Controlling

Collaborating and substituting within the global Underwriting Assistant network framework of Munich Re
Ihr Profil

Apprenticeship in insurance and/or finance, or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

Several years of experience in insurance/reinsurance, preferably in property or casualty
-
Detailed knowledge of technical principles of facultative/direct underwriting including facilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Excellent command of German and English

Strong team player with personal integrity and highly developed soft skills, especially strong communication, networking and intercultural skills
