Munich Re´s credit reinsurance unit is a global panel leader and provides bespoke as well as innovative solutions in the segments Trade Credit, Surety and Political Risk Reinsurance. To complement our team of recognized experts, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated colleague.
You will be responsible for the client management of defined accounts, the underwriting of Political Risks and Credit Reinsurance programs as well as for business development activities.
Your job

Assuming responsibility for the underwriting of treaty and facultative reinsurance contracts with focus on primary insurers, export credit agencies and multilateral organizations covering political risk investment (PRI), contract frustration (CF) and credit insurance (CR) including tasks related to single risks assessment and pricing

Conducting the analysis and assessment of market and client potentials as well as defining and implementing the derived strategies to capitalize on profitable business opportunities in your markets

Establishing and strengthening close and long term relationships with clients and brokers

Designing and delivering innovative solutions customized to the identified needs of your clients and prospects also beyond traditional reinsurance
Ihr Profil

Solid knowledge of Political Risk and Credit Insurance
-
Degree in International Business, Economics, Mathematics, Law or equivalent field

Technical reinsurance competence including the use of pricing models and single risks assessment tools

Very good negotiating, communication and networking skills to build long-term relationships with clients and brokers

Highly-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to support the further development of the underwriting team

Sound analytical thinking and ability to work effectively and solution-oriented

Excellent proficiency in English
