Key responsibilities/What you do
Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, The ICT Strategic Buyer steers and controls the relationship and delivery of our external IT suppliers. In close collaboration with the CIO office, he/she will be responsible for handling the company's end to end sourcing operations across all business units globally.
You will be responsible for all IT external spend including the definition of global guidelines to build consistency and standardisation globally.
Key repsonsibilities:
- Define and implement efficient category management strategies.
- Analyze IT cost and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
- Define global sourcing strategy and manage RFP and negiotations
- Implement best procurement practices and ICT procurement standards (incl. compliance and regulatory components) in AZP business units.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking in close collaboration with the CIO office.
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
- Determine, steer and control the performance of the suppliers in terms of quality and stability of deliveries.
- Provide a structured process, rules of engagement and end-to-end support for AzP ICT supplier landscape
Key requirements/What you bring
- Minimum of 7 years experience managing IT categories as a strategic buyer in a multi-national company
- Proven experience in project management with delivery responsibility
- Proven experience working within a large international enviornment, multi country/ locational
- Strong abiltiy to use data and insights to identify and drive opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships with peers and other functions; ability to motivate and influence key project stakeholders and drive change
- Strong English written and oral communication
