Stellenbeschreibung

Ihre Aufgaben


You will run the part of the project researching the history of documentary drawing/graphic recording in war;

  • You will contribute to the theoretical and conceptual work done within the framework on the project, for example, by participating in and/or organising workshops;
  • You will be the co-curator for the exhibition developed within the framework of the project, planned for 2027;
  • Teaching selected seminars within the American Studies Program is encouraged
  • Active presence in the public facing side of the project is welcomed


Ihr Profil


PhD in Art History, History or a related field;

  • A deep interest and expertise in visual culture studies (esp. drawing) and the theory of documentary practices; Knowledge of US twentieth century history a plus;
  • Experience in planning and conducting research, including archival work and organizing academic events; previous experience in curation is a bonus;
  • Aptitude for digital research infrastructures (e.g. Omeka, RDMO tools, easydb);
  • Enthusiastic and committed, a good communicator and willing to show initiative.

  • TV-L 13 position (100%) for three years, starting no later than May 1, 2025;
