As part of the GNSS Applications team, you will support the ongoing development of the Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS) system. The focus is on the development of PRS/OS receivers & PRS test tools and end-to-end simulators for the publicly regulated Galileo service (Public Regulated Service). In this role, you will be involved in various R&D activities where you define, implement and test navigation algorithms and features. Development of functional units for Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS) and Open Service (OS) software receivers, algorithms and features as part of an international team.

Support the evolution of the Galileo system in relation to PRS/OS navigation signals and their performance.

Operation and further development of the end-to-end navigation simulator for the performance analysis of navigation signals.

Definition and development of new tools for validating navigation signals.

Definition, planning and execution of both tests in the laboratory and measurement campaigns.

Interpretation of measurement data and test results.

Creating and updating system development documents.

Presentation of achieved results to national and international customers, industrial partners and during technical meetings, symposiums and conferences.

Introduction of new concepts and applications related to satellite navigation and PRS aspects.

Participation in the creation of technical offers.
Ihr Profil

You have completed a master's degree in an engineering science such as navigation, telecommunications, signal processing, electrical engineering, aerospace, physics or comparable.

You have good knowledge of satellite-based navigation systems, or navigation signals, or receiver architecture and performance.

You have an in-depth understanding of receiver techniques and signal processing techniques, such as acquisition, tracking, data demodulation, channel decoding, positioning, velocity, timing calculation, detection and mitigation of interference.

You already have an understanding of receiver techniques and signal processing techniques for the Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS).

You have good experience with Inertial Navigation System Integration, Sensor Fusion and Integrity/RAIM.

You have very good experience in the field of software development and your C++ knowledge is excellent.

You have the ability to analyze complex technical problems and define innovative solutions.

You should be fluent in speaking and writing in the German language.
