Ihre Aufgaben

• Responsibility for component design, tool creation, injection moulding and implementation in product industrialization

  Project management and communication

• Creation of project calculations, parts lists and monitoring of documentation

• Communication and coordination with internal and external interfaces for on-time implementation

  3D printing and rapid prototyping

• Responsibility for the integration of 3D printing and rapid prototyping into product development and production

• Supervision of the entire prototyping process from the initial idea to the functional prototype

  Production, manufacturing and technical problem solving

• Solving technical problems in compliance with toy safety according to DIN EN 71

• Supervision of tool production and definition of test criteria

• Planning and setting up production, assembly and packaging lines in collaboration with international manufacturers

• Optimization of production start-up with suppliers in Germany and abroad, especially for injection moulding and 3D printing technologies

Ihr Profil

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, engineering, industrial design or comparable training

• Several years of experience in product development, especially in the industrialization of figures or toys

• Sound knowledge of component design, tooling and injection molding processes

• Experience in the use of 3D printing and rapid prototyping for rapid prototype development and validation

• Confident in using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and 3D printing technologies

• Experience in creating project calculations, parts lists and monitoring production processes

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as experience in coordinating with international suppliers and manufacturers

• Very good knowledge of toy safety standards (DIN EN 71) and quality assurance is a plus

• Good written and spoken English, other language skills an advantage

• Willingness to travel, especially for international supplier visits
