M&E Global is a defence contractor undertaking services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. We have a fantastic opportunity for a HVAC Technician to join our team.

Based in Pirmasens, Germany. You'll get to work alongside our dedicated workforce on a US Military base.
Prior HVAC Technician experience will be required, although additional training will be provided on site.

General job description
-
Repairs, installs, and operates refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, combustible equipment, and related equipment items.

Interprets electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance malfunction data to analyse malfunctions.

Uses various test equipment, load banks and other diagnostic equipment as required by technical data to operate, maintain, inspect, test, repair, and reconstitute assets.

Prepares assets/equipment for air/sea/road haul shipments in accordance with Technical Orders, Manuals, Checklists, Regulations, and Unit Type Code (UTC) Configuration listings.

Prepares and completes required documentation to include DOD, USAF Supply/Maintenance, Amentum and associated forms.

Operates material handling equipment as required.

Inspects Hazardous Materials within the assigned work centre and coordinates with the appropriate office for the disposal of HAZMAT when required.

May be required to assist in other departments when directed or requested to accomplish a specific task or project.

Conforms to safety, hazardous material, and quality standards.

Ensures all tools, personal protective equipment and clothing issued remain safe, secure and serviceable, reporting any deficiencies.

Erects, constructs and operates GPMS HVAC systems and associated equipment to support real world exercises and contingencies.

Performs other duties as assigned.
