An QHSE and ESG Manager opportunity has arisen at our Ross-on-Wye Hereford location. This role will be responsible for leading the QHSE and ESG activities of the business as well as maintaining QHSE compliance and accreditation.
You will develop, maintain and continually improve compliance managements systems, SOP's and Internal Management ensuring they remain compliant and move in line with industry developments.
Responsibilities and Activities:
Quality Control Systems

Develop, integrate, coordinate, and maintain the IMS system and procedures relevant to the latest ISO standards and to meet industry specific accreditations

Ensure maintenance of SOPs is carried out

Manage the preparation and completion of internal and external quality audits

Brief senior management on significant developments on QA/QC activities / events and the implications for the business and proposed actions

Provide oversight on customer complaints in the business to senior management

Ensuring individuals within the organisation are appropriately trained.

Collate and publish KPI's, establishing improvement targets and objective to measure against.
Health, Safety and Environment
-
Develop, integrate, coordinate and maintain the IMS system and procedures relevant to latest ISO standards

Manage the preparation and completion of internal and external audits

Be the Health and Safety lead for the organisation

Organise appropriate Health and Safety review meetings and briefings

Report to Senior Management for significant developments on day to day events, compliance and legislation, the implications for the business and proposed actions

Ensure mine clearance documents comply with IMAS (where IMAS is relevant)

Collation, monitoring, analysis and summary reporting of group near misses, accidents and RIDDOR incidents

Lead the investigation into non-compliance, accidents and near misses and produce written reports.

Collate and publish KPI's, establishing improvement targets and objective to measure against.
ESG
-
Be the ESG champion for our business and maximise the opportunity that ESG brings to both our community and business.

Engage with the business to facilitate the delivery of tangible ESG gains.

Working in partnership with our shareholder ESG director, champion our ESG drive and report on the progress being made in accordance with shareholder requirements.
Ihr Profil
The successful candidate will require a NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Qualification and it is essential that you are a Graduate member of IOSH (Grad IOSH) or equivalent. You must have knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 as well as experience of Internal Auditing Training. It is essential that you have previous QHSE management experience and are able to prioritise effectively as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work with a high level of accuracy.
Ideally you will have previous experience of EOD Operations and ISO22301 Business Continuity Management, ISO50001 Energy Management Systems.
