R&D Engineer (m/w/d) Structure Built-In Appliances
Location: StuttgartRole and ResponsibilitiesEnhancing and refining dishwasher cleaning and drying systems Assessing the cleaning and drying efficiency of dishwashers by applying tests that comply with international standards and consumer organization test methodsExamining and evaluating competitor products with regards to cycle design and hardware advancements Converting feedback from diverse stakeholders (such as end users and service) into requirements for products and components. Operate within a diverse work environment / international teams Cooperation with external laboratories and institutes Participation in working group meetings of standardization committees (DKE, CENELEC) and manufacturer associations (APPLiA)Providing support to the European subsidiaries through product trainings, with an emphasis on comparing technologies.Skills and QualificationsA university degree in mechanical, electrical, or appliance engineering or a technician background with initial professional
experience and a commitment to continuous development in the job is required. Experience with home appliances and smart connectivity technologies is preferredBasic understanding of cleaning technologiesHaving extra proficiency in any of the following fields is welcomed: detergents, electronics, sensor technology, software programming, hygiene / microbiologyFluent in spoken and written English, with a preference for familiarity with German or Korean.
