Service & Support Engineer (f/m/d)

WITec's product range features the world's best confocal Raman microscopes, which can be equipped with AFM, SNOM, and even SEM in select configurations. Our systems can be adapted to the individual requirements of our customers. They contribute worldwide to new insights and solutions in many areas of science, research and development.

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated colleague to join the Service & Support department in Ulm, Germany.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Identification of problem causes in direct customer communication and with the help of remote support

• Coordination of the repair of faulty components as well as the handling of repair requests on the customer and supplier side

• Development and implementation of standardised test procedures

• Realisation of necessary technical adjustments together with customers, suppliers and other specialised departments

• Carrying out upgrade installations as well as service visits at our customers' premises

Ihr Profil

• Completed studies in the field of physics, technology or engineering.

• Alternatively: technician or relevant professional training with appropriate work experience

• Strong technical-physical background that facilitates an in-depth understanding of our measurement systems in the areas of optics, electronics and software

• Advantageous: Experience in the field of microscopy as well as spectroscopy

• Ability to work in a flexible and solution-oriented manner

• Strong communication skills

• Very good language skills in German and English
