Senior Process Engineer

Talent Responsibilities

We are looking for a new production process technologist to develop long-term unique selling points for our products. As part of product development project teams, you will develop the manufacturing processes and bring them to stable series-maturity. You specialize in the design and industrialization of production processes including a proper documentation of those. You have knowledge of the automation and data networking of production facilities according to the principles of Industry 4.0. You monitor new trends, and research focuses worldwide and network closely with our production sites.

Internally, you will analyze ongoing production with regard to optimization potential and implement this independently. In alliance with Sales, Application Engineers, and Sourcing, your team will develop and implement customer specific solutions, referred to as non-standard inquires. This process includes ensuring qualification according to customer-specific standards. Thanks to your process orientation, methodological expertise, creativity and strong communication skills, you will also be able to take up and introduce new and innovative approaches.

We are looking for an action-taker with enthusiasm for implementing technical solutions. This versatile task requires:- Minimum BS degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials engineering or equivalent.

• Masters degree preferred.
• Work experience in this field for at least 5 years
• Practical experience in various production technologies
• Extensive knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (5why, Ishikawa?) and quality methods such as FMEA, SPC
• Experience in automation technology and knowledge and any programming language desired
• Knowledge of Lean-Methods
• Structured way of working with organizational skills
• Passion for technology, highly flexible and committed
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, ITAR or similar
• Spanish language skills advantageous
