Lead Inspector

Talent Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the inspection process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. This role involves leading a team of inspectors, conducting detailed inspections, and maintaining accurate records of inspection results. As a Supplier Quality Technician, responsible for ensuring that materials and components received from suppliers meet the required quality standards. This role involves conducting supplier audits, inspecting incoming materials, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Formal technical skills training/schooling, required

Experience: Minimum 5 years inspection experience with technical products required Experience in an ISO9001 or higher certified environment preferred Experience in Solid works or Catia is a plus

Skills/Knowledge: Proficient in data entry and database/records maintenance Strong understanding of inspection techniques and methods Capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel ASQ program certifications a plus Capability in GAGEtrak and Faciliworks programs a plus Understanding of AS9100 a plus Familiar with ANSI Z1.4 and application of AQL inspection levels

Effective written and oral English communication Solid communication skills and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams Must have ability to read, understand, and explain engineering drawings/assembly instructions in English

Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, Quality System Regulation Compare and confirms component parts and assemblies against documented requirements Experience in developing part qualification processes and supplier quality measures Excellent interpersonal skills to lead teams and drive projects to successful closure Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work well in team environment Exercise initiative, achievement and independent judgment Act as a Mentor to all Quality Control Personnel

Tools: Digital caliper, digital micrometer, microscope, and plating verification equipment

Personal Qualifications: Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks Ability to handle change effectively Customer focus and an ability to manage customers and peers with tact and diplomacy Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds; ability to exercise cultural awareness and sensitivity Willing to travel- 25% or less
