Ihre Aufgaben
We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager (m/f/d) for our "Equipment Procurement" department to start as soon as possible. This person will work in a team with two operational buyers (m/f/d) and assume strategic responsibility for the associated product groups. The position reports directly to the Head of Procurement Equipment and plays a key role in the further development of the purchasing strategy.

Responsibility for the further development of the assigned product groups, identification of savings and optimization potential and derivation of a roadmap

Building trusting relationships with the technical department to highlight the importance of strategic purchasing processes and establishing new approaches.

Close coordination with the two operational buyers to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of the developed product group strategies.

Cross-team knowledge transfer with the strategic buyer of the other purchasing team as well as further development and harmonization of purchasing strategies.

Drafting and negotiating contracts, maintaining supplier relationships and active risk management.
Ihr Profil

Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in project business and with a focus on technical product groups.

Ability to familiarize yourself independently with new subject areas and recognize strategic potential.

Understanding of technical requirements and ideally experience in working with technical departments.

Experience in negotiating and drafting contracts, also with international partners.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Personal responsibility, team spirit and strong communication skills.

Willingness to undertake occasional business trips (visits to suppliers/trade fairs).
