Ihre Aufgaben
The Administrative Support Assistant will provide support to the immediate Office of the Director. The office has roughly 10-15 staff, including the Director and Deputy Director. The selectee will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties related to but not limited to records management, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, setting up conference rooms for meetings, and processing correspondence.

Applicants must be a current Library of Congress employee serving in a permanent or indefinite position at the GS-5 level or higher.
Depending on the qualifications of the applicant(s) selected, this may be a temporary promotion, NTE 120 days or a detail with the possibility of an extension(s). Full-time, eligible for a flexible work schedule but not starting before 8:30 a.m.
Minimum Knowledge/ Abilities Expected:

Excellent organizational skills combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize work, with strong attention to detail.

Ability to interact collaboratively with staff at all levels from all backgrounds
