At the German base, the company coordinates the sales activities for their Robotics Division, covering the whole of Europe and North Africa. This includes innovative solutions and machinery for Surface Mount Technology (SMT)., With the company and business in Europe continuing to grow steadily, they are now looking for a motivated Area Sales Manager for Germany (m/f/d) to join and support their international team.
The company is open for SMT experts Germany-wide (previous sale experience not necessary). As a home office option is negotiable.
Your tasks
Depending on your level of experience you can start straight away or will receive an intensive on the job training into the area of sales and the company's specific SMT technology. After this your responsibilities will include:

Support of existing customers and distribution partners via telephone/ email and also on site

After a successful on-boarding: strategic further development and acquisition of new customers and business/ distribution partners

Act as the main point of contact for distributers and customers regarding all sales related issues (including price negotiations and technical questions)

Attend trade fairs to promote products and increase brand awareness by explaining products.

Competent, solution-oriented advice, training and support for customers and local representatives or partners

Regular market observation and research into current developments and trends in order to identify potential customers or adapt products.

Regular reporting to as well as discussions with the head of the department regarding strategic and economical maters

Close collaboration with colleagues including other area sales managers, field service technicians and the back-office team
Ihr Profil

Successfully completed university degree or vocational training - a technical background is ideal

General work experience in the area of SMT technology preferably in the area of sales - experience in service or production also welcome!

Business fluent in English-skills as well as good German skills

A sense for customer needs and creative, solution-oriented thinking as well as a self-confident demeanour

Motivation to work both independently and as part of an international team

Driver's license and willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
