We are looking for a techno-functional Product Expert to join our team contributing to shaping the strategy and scope of SAP's Business Technology Platform AI capabilities. Generative AI (GenAI) has emerged as a transformative force, with the ability to create, mimic, and innovate across a wide range of domains. This has significant implications for enterprise software and ultimately for SAP. SAP's Business Technology Platform is shaping the future of enterprise software and is a key enabler for the transformation we're on together with our customers. It is creating the ability to extend and personalize SAP applications, integrate, and connect entire landscapes, and empower business users to integrate processes and experiences.

The Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver the future of GenAI capabilities within SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) by taking responsibility for discovering new cases in alignment with our product portfolio. Become a part of our international, multi-disciplinary BTP AI unit, where you will work closely with your peers, tech leads, machine learning & data engineers, full stack developers, and many others. You'll be immersed in an environment that fosters innovation, with abundant opportunities for personal growth and continuous learning.

Your responsibility as BTP AI Product Leader will be:

• To plan & run projects and initiatives, gather and define requirements and collaborate with customers.

• To understand the relevance of new technological advancements in AI and translate those into actionable tasks for our teams.

• To align product portfolios and roadmaps including prioritization of new engagements

• To collaborate closely with our management & executive stakeholders to create transparency and provide guidance on maximizing business value based on our findings and strategy.

• Actively mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of proof of concepts and GenAI projects.

• Supporting our customers and internal teams to understand our GenAI capabilities, our plans and vision.

  You must be comfortable wearing multiple hats - on the one hand, you need the strategic and visionary long view as a product leader on the other hand you need to manage and run short cycled experiments., Our BTP AI team is part of the organization building and operating the platform. We aim to be on top of the latest advancements in AI and to figure out how we apply these best to increase the value for everybody building on top of the platform - be it internal or be it our customers and partners. Join a diverse team of data engineers, engagement leads, development architects and developers who aim to support and deliver AI cases in the context of BTP.

Ihr Profil

• A Master's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification with preferably 8+ years of experience

• 6+ years in customer engagement management, project management, program management, and/or product management

• Proven record of team coordination with diverse expertise (e.g. architects, developers, UX, data scientists, user assistants)

• Proven record on leading disruptive innovation initiatives or startup engagement

• Ability to work well with ambiguity and in a highly entrepreneurial as well as technological fast transforming environment

• Ability to build trust-based relationships and strong networks in customer IT/Business and SAP Ecosystem.

• Ability to meet deadlines and ensure that team members are working collaboratively and efficiently in an international team set-up

• Fluency both written and spoken in English and German
