Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and innovative cultivation systems? Join our team for a temporary 12-month role as a Technologist AgroScience to support our AgroScience group's parental leave coverage
This multifaceted role supports our AgroScience team's strategy for naturality and sustainability, focusing on experimental plant cultivation in diverse environments.

Perform experimental cultivation of various plant species in indoor, greenhouse, and open-field systems, including propagation, planting, maintenance, and establishing experimental sites.

Collaborate on the development and evaluation of innovative cultivation systems such as hydroponics, aeroponics, in vitro cultivation, and phytotrons.

Conduct plant rating, sample collection for analytical investigations, and processing samples for transfer to analytical labs.

Work on cultivation projects with external cooperation partners, such as universities and private businesses.

Plan and execute plant protection and pest management, focusing on biological methods and chemical plant protection where necessary.

Plan, execute, and document experiments, collect data, maintain databases, and perform data analysis using MS 365 or similar tools.

Provide support for project work and management activities.
Ihr Profil

Completed education as a Plant Technologist or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agro- or Horticultural Science).

Proven work experience in experimental plant cultivation, including indoor/protected environments (e.g., pest management, fertilization, variety selection, experimental design, hydro/aeroponic systems, and/or in vitro methods).

Strong analytical and methodological skills, with experience in biological or physicochemical analytical methods (e.g., NIR, UV-VIS).

Proficiency in software tools, including MS 365 and statistical tools.

Valid Class B driver's license.

Team player with excellent collaboration skills

Fluent German (spoken and written) and sound English skills are mandatory.

Willingness to work occasionally on weekends and to travel.
